毛糸の帽子に船員さんから礼状

有志の皆様へ
 

今年もたくさんの毛糸帽製作に御協力いただき本当にありがとうございました。 多くの外国船労働者の方々は、フィリピンやインドネシアなど冬の寒さとは無縁の 国からやってきます。皆様に御協力をいただいた毛糸帽は、こうした船員たち、特に 船上のデッキなどで働く人々にとって寒さをしのぐために使ってもらおうと始めら れたものです。 この冬も、当センターを訪れた船員の方々は大喜びで皆様の心のこもった帽子を早 速被って買い物に出たり、船で待つ仲間のために持ち帰ったりしておりました。 再び帽子製作のためのお時間をいただきました皆様には、船員の方々に代わりまし て深くお礼を申し上げますと共に、今後とも御協力いただきますよう心からお願い申 し上げます。

THE MISSION TO SEAFARERS, KOBE

Again this Christmas time we were able to give out many wonderful and colourful knitted hats seafarers from many countries who visited the Port of Kobe and the Mariners' Centre.

Being from mostly warm climates, such as the Philippines, India or Indonesia, the cold winter months can be especially hard for these people, and thanks to their new hats, they can now continue their voyages and work with a warm head!

Thank you from the seafarers, to everybody who knitted these hats for all your time and effort!

The colours are wonderful and they are all greatly appreciated!
